In the past year there has been proposed changes to the Public Charge Laws. The proposed changes have been accompanies with misinformation and misunderstanding of what it is and isn’t, whom it will impact and what impact it will have. Result has been in more students and their families, fearing engagement with schools and community providers for services and resources. The presentation will seek to clarity Public Change changes, and strategies for re-educating families of students so to improve engagement.
